Welcome to NOW Pride

NOW Pride is a local 501(c)(3) organization that exists to educate, communicate, and help protect LGBTQ+ persons from oppression, ridicule, and abuse.  We are dedicated to creating a more positive, safe, and inclusive community where all are welcome. Our group’s purpose is to promote cooperation and understanding among all people; develop a welcoming community space; promote well-being and human rights for all; and work to end prejudice and discrimination.  We are working toward these goals by performing educational services and community outreach; promoting positive images of LGBTQ+ persons; and building and sharing a network of information and resources.

Most importantly, we are proud to sponsor the only local Pride Festival in Ohio Valley.  This has become our signature event, and it brings together a wonderfully diverse group of people each year to celebrate the LGBTQ+ community and the greater Ohio Valley community as a whole.
